As the BRICS alliance continues to expand and strengthen its economic and geopolitical influence, its members are playing an increasingly important role in shaping the future of global food and agriculture. Together, BRICS countries account for a significant share of the world’s agricultural production, commodity exports, population, and natural resources, giving the bloc growing influence over global trade, investment, food security, and supply chain resilience.

This Forum will explore how evolving BRICS cooperation is reshaping agricultural markets through changing trade relationships, strategic investments, emerging policy frameworks, and new approaches to market access and international standards. Participants will examine the strategic interests driving the alliance, the potential for new commodity partnerships and financial institutions, and the implications for competitiveness across the global food and agricultural value chain.

As agriculture becomes more closely tied to geopolitics, national security, and economic development, understanding the trajectory of BRICS is increasingly important.
