Currently, she is a first-year master’s student at Michigan State University in the Department of Agricultural, Food and Resource Economics with a concentration in food and ag economics. She would like to focus her research on finding ways to analyze how economic risk factors impact supply chain sustainability for small and medium scale farmers while also looking at how federal agricultural policy plays a role in this area of agribusiness.

Her biggest accomplishment thus far has been starting the pilot MANRRS Pipeline Mentorship Program in the spring of 2021 for students in Region II which was the basis for the now society wide MANRRS LEAD Mentorship Program, sponsored by Smithfield Foods.
