Alex Quinones is the group leader for agriculture at Broadview Capital Holdings. He has over eight years of experience in commodity risk management and trading. He leads a team that is responsible for managing the firm’s agricultural commodity portfolio, trading futures and options in the grains, oilseeds, and livestock markets. He also works as a consultant for The Maschhoffs, one of the largest US hog producers, helping them to manage hog and feed price risk in the futures market. Prior to joining Broadview Capital Holdings in 2017 he worked at The Maschhoffs as a senior commodity analyst. Alex started his career at Deutsche Bank in London and Peabody Energy in St. Louis before deciding to focus his career on the agricultural industry.
Alex received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Saint Louis University, concentrating on economics and international business. He earned his MBA from Washington University in 2021. He is a certified financial risk manager (FRM) and has passed the CFA Exam Level II. He lives in St. Louis, Missouri, with his wife and two daughters.
