Sarah Orban is a tactical sales coordinator for the western sales region of the United States at Deere & Company, a position she has held since November 2020. She is responsible for communication and logistics for internal John Deere employees and John Deere dealers across 17 states.
Prior to this role, Sarah served as the Small Grains Production Systems Innovation marketing rep. She was responsible for supporting and helping implement small grains initiatives, both in-field and from an agronomic aspect. Orban joined Deere full time in 2020 as a marketing representative at the Olathe Marketing Headquarters. Previously, in 2019 she interned with the John Deere Application Marketing team.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in animal science and agronomy from Iowa State University. She earned her Master of Science from Iowa State University in agriculture education studies, with a thesis focused on exploring the personal, career, and academic growth of learning community peer mentors in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University.
Sarah grew up on a row-crop and cattle farm in South Central Minnesota where her family currently runs their grain and cattle operation.
