Stephanie Westhelle is the senior strategist, confectionery partnerships, at Fairtrade America. Stephanie works in close collaboration with various stakeholders across the globe to change the way trade works; through promoting higher commodity prices for producers, better working conditions, and a fairer deal for farmers and workers in developing countries. Additionally, she specializes in connecting composite product brands looking to be part of a more sustainable future. A future that is equitable for supply communities, responds to new shopping habits and gets business involved with the farmers that produce the food that keeps us fueled every day.
Throughout Stephanie’s career, she has advocated the importance of business as a positive driver of economic and environmental change. She has over a decade of experience within the food and beverage industry. Stephanie earned her Master of Tourism Administration Degree in Sustainable Agrotourism, from George Washington University and is an alumnus of the UNLEASH Global Innovation
