16th Annual Farmer Cooperatives Conference

The national Farmer Cooperatives Conference highlights the latest strategic thinking on current cooperative issues and trends.  Leading Change: Strategies for the Future is the subject of the 2013 conference, which will be Nov. 7-8 at the Radisson Plaza Hotel, Minneapolis, MN.

Program sessions will examine strategies to handle equity capital for strategic growth, as well as the economics of renewable fuels and the influence of consumer-driven market trends on production agricultural practices.  Policy updates and an economic forecast are also on the program.

The conference is organized by the Center for Cooperatives at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Farm Foundation has been a supporter of the conference since it began in 1997.

Now in its 16th year, the Farmer Cooperatives Conference is a forum for cooperative directors, managers and those doing business with agricultural cooperatives to learn and exchange ideas with policy, research and legal experts about issues currently affect the agricultural cooperative community.
