Agrosecurity: The Challenge for Public Policy Education

A  conference summary report is available.

The conference included the introduction of Public Issues Education: Increasing Competence, Enabling Communities. This booklet was written to strength the ability of Extension educators, administrators and others to provide education on emerging public issues. Funded by Farm Foundation and USDA-CSREES Innovations Fund, the booklet was written by NPPEC's Public Issues Education Competencies Task Force. Copies are available from the North Central, Northeast, Southern and Western rural development centers, or can be downloaded by clicking  here.
