George Washington Carver Public Service Hall of Fame Award



October 4, 2001 (Chicago) The George Washington Carver Public Service Hall of Fame Award is given annually to individuals affiliated or who have worked with 1890 land grant institutions over a career and who exemplify the public service philosophy and leadership qualities of Dr. Carver. Farm Foundation sponsors these annual awards to recognize distinguished service and to inspire others to follow the examples of Carver and those recipients in their career choices.

Farm has sponsored the award since its inception in 1984. The awards are presented at the Annual Meeting of the Professional Agricultural Workers.
