Lorin Rudin-Rush

Lorin Rudin-Rush is in his first year as a Ph.D. student in agricultural and applied economics at the University of Wisconsin. He received his B.A. in Mathematics and Political Science from the University of Florida, and a M.Sc. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Arizona.

Prior to enrolling at the University of Arizona, Lorin served in AmeriCorps for one year in their VISTA program. In AmeriCorps, he assessed the quality of treatment programs at a clinic providing care to underserved people in Tucson, Arizona. After the completion of his AmeriCorps service, he enrolled at the University of Arizona and studied under Dr. Anna Josephson and Dr. Jeffrey Michler. His research focused on food security and the COVID-19 pandemic in Africa.
