Heidi Mahr

Heidi Mahr is from Cresco, Iowa, and is currently a student at Iowa State University, where she is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Business. At Iowa State, she is actively involved in the Agricultural Business Club, where she serves on the Philanthropy and Service Committee.

Heidi also served as a Destination Iowa State Peer Mentor, guiding a group of incoming freshmen through their transition to college. Her academic performance has earned her placement on the Dean’s List every semester. Heidi is passionate about agriculture and plans to pursue a career in agricultural finance and crop insurance sales after graduating in May of 2027. She also intends to remain actively involved in her family farm.
