What Works! Rural Entrepreneurship & Community Development in the Northeast

This three day-workshop was designed to help practitioners, researchers, educators and decision makers explore opportunities and challenges in promoting entrepreneurship as a vehicle for rural economic development in the Northeast.

The program offered more than 30 sessions at which the successes and challenges of entrepreneurship and rural economic development were explored.

This event was hosted by the University of Vermont Extension and the Northeast Regional Center for Rural Development, with additional sponsorship from Farm Foundation, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Vermont Technical Assistance Providers Association, New England Small Business Development Centers, University of Vermont Center for Rural Studies and the Association for Enterprise Opportunity.
