The impacts of domestic agricultural policy on producers, suppliers and retailers, and international trade were examined at the conference, Domestic and Trade Impacts of U.S. Farm Policy: Future Directions and Challenges.

Targeted to policy makers, industry and government leaders, and academics, the conference program highlighted four key areas – industry perspectives, producer perspectives, impacts of domestic agricultural policy to international trade agreement, and the perspectives of developing countries.

Selected papers were presented in five areas:  WTO impacts on policy; agricultural policy and energy; international effects of farm policy; international agreements and tools; domestic policy effects.
