Call for Nominations Opens for Young Agri-Food Leaders

Farm Foundation®, an accelerator of practical solutions for agriculture, is now accepting nominations for the Young Agri-Food Leaders program.  Nominations for the 2023 cohort will be accepted until February 8.

The Young Agri-Food Leaders program began in 2020. It seeks to actively engage emerging leaders in food and agribusiness, from ages 25 to 40 years old, in a year-long series of interactive  learning and networking experiences, focused on gaining a deeper understanding of the food and agriculture value chain. The program also hopes to help young professionals build a strong, enduring network of peers in business, farming and government.  Participants are sponsored to attend events, engage in virtual conversations, and participate in exclusive learning and networking opportunities.  More information and a link to the nomination form are available at farmfoundation.org/young-agri-food-leaders.

The full suite of Farm Foundation Next Generation programs have to date engaged nearly 200 promising farmers and agri-business professionals early in their careers, helping them establish critical connections that are nurtured past the current program year through the alumni network.

Nominations are due by February 8, 2023. Participants can be nominated by anyone who knows them well, such as managers, colleagues, community leaders, etc. Participants may also be self-nominated.
