This Forum focused on the future of agricultural productivity and its role in feeding a growing world. We examined how climate change, shifting geopolitics, and changing trade patterns were reshaping the global productivity landscape. We also explored where the next gains in productivity were likely to come from — including new technologies, innovative farming practices, and strategic investments — and how growing economies were influencing global demand. The discussion also examined how cooperation and competition among nations affected efforts to strengthen global food security, and what these trends meant for the United States as it worked with partners and competitors to support a more productive, resilient, and stable global food system.

Panelists included:

Jessica Agnew, Director of the GAP Initiative and Associate Director of CALS Global
Keith Fuglie, Chief Economist of the Food Security Leadership Council and Senior Fellow at NCFAP
Mikayla Mooney, Venture Partner at Ag Startup Engine.
