Elizabeth Dworkin

Elizabeth “Elle” Dworkin is a master’s student in Economics at Iowa State University and a Business Product Owner for Pioneer Seed at Corteva Agriscience. She earned her B.S. in Agribusiness from Oklahoma State University in 2022. In her current role, she supports the development and implementation of digital systems used by Pioneer’s commercial teams.
Her interest in agriculture grew through work on small farms, while her interest in economics was shaped by early conversations about development and land use in the Dallas–Fort Worth region. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted university grant-funded research and completed internships in R&D and regulatory affairs, gaining hands-on experience in crop research, regulatory processes, and both university- and industry-funded projects. She also served as president of the OSU Free Enterprise Society, where she organized an economics lecture series.
Now based in West Des Moines, she serves on the board of West Des Moines Young Professionals and mentors undergraduate students at Iowa State University. Her work centers on how digital tools, organizational strategy, and economic incentives influence decision-making in commercial agriculture. She is particularly interested in corporate strategy, technology adoption, and the economic and policy frameworks shaping the industry. After completing her master’s degree, she plans to pursue roles that apply economic analysis to technology, agricultural policy, and corporate strategy.
