Kimberly Okpah

Presentation topic: “Efficacy of Field-Collected Pathogens Against Chewing and Sucking Insects”

Kimberly Okpah is a PhD student in the Department of Agriculture, Food, and Resource Sciences at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

As a Nigerian-American from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, she is inspired by the connections among culture, agriculture, and community. Her academic work centers on insect science and sustainable agriculture. After completing her degree, she plans to continue her journey as a research scientist in entomology, contributing to innovative solutions that support crop health and integrated pest management.
